What we won’t do
- Repair physically failed hardware (we’ll alert and recover instead).
- Prevent power surges or facility outages.
- Modify files the signed-in user can’t access; we restore permissions after malware tampering when safe.
- Reset passwords on unfamiliar machines to access encrypted accounts or data (Note: this means we won't unlock stolen devices).
- Aggressively remove “maybe wanted” software. We may generate a support ticket and alert you if we're concerned about security.
- Create hidden back doors. You keep full control of your device and can cancel per your agreement.
