More information — Your contact information
Primary email — required, no charge. This is where we send your order confirmation, your secure login link for the customer portal, and your invoices. Use an inbox you actually check.
Primary phone — required, no charge. Use a number that reaches someone who can OK a remote session and verify your identity if we need to confirm something quickly.
Business name & address — recorded on your subscription and your invoices. We also use this when we set up your Microsoft 365 or backup services on your behalf.
We use this info to create your account, send your logins and receipts, and reach you when something needs your approval. Everything stays in your Tates PC and Stripe customer record. Link to this section
More information — Device counts (Desktops, Servers, Network devices)
Desktops — counted seat (priced into your monthly rate). Windows and Mac computers you want us to monitor, protect with antivirus, and automatically fix common issues on through Ai PC Fix.
Servers — counted seat (priced into your monthly rate). Servers you want us to keep an eye on. Having any servers automatically puts you on the Business plan with the dashboard turned on.
Network devices — counted seat for monitoring and Network Security Penetration Testing. Routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network gear we keep track of and (if you choose Network Security Penetration Testing) test against.
The numbers you put in here drive most of your pricing — endpoints, backup seats, and security-testing scope all count off these. You'll see exact dollars on Order Overview (next step). Link to this section
More information — Users (Technicians, Power Users, Employees)
Technicians — billed with your subscription per the rates on your order summary. People at your company who get full access to the Tates PC dashboard, can run remote sessions, and work tickets — your IT staff or anyone you trust to help everyone else.
Power Users — billed with your subscription per the rates on your order summary. People who only need access to their own assigned devices — usually for remote help and tickets — without seeing the whole company's stuff.
Employees (Contacts) — no charge. Anyone on staff who just needs to email in support requests; they don't get a login or any tools.
Technician and Power User accounts both need Remote Access and the Dashboard turned on, and any account with even one server automatically needs the Dashboard. Pick a Technician count that matches how many people will actually be working tickets and boards below. Link to this section
More information — Antivirus options
Bitdefender Antivirus + Managed Firewall (tier 1) — price $3.00/device/mo (no setup). Real, business-grade Bitdefender on every Windows or Mac you cover: blocks viruses, ransomware, and the tricks attackers use to slip past basic antivirus. We see live status and infection signals through Ai PC Fix — so we know if something is actually misbehaving, not just whether antivirus is “installed.”
Bitdefender with Web Filter + EDR (tier1 + tier 2) — price $4.00/device/mo (one-time setup $15.00 per device when first deployed). Everything in tier 1 plus website filtering (block scam sites, ad/tracker noise, time-wasters, and other categories you don't want your users on) and behavior-based threat detection that watches for sneaky activity — even brand-new malware with no signature yet. Business customers can email us at signup to fine-tune filter categories for your team.
Most modern attacks slip past free or built-in antivirus. Both tiers are real, business-grade Bitdefender — the same protection family used by professional IT shops — and we strongly recommend one on every desktop and server you cover. Windows and Mac. Link to this section
More information — IT Helpdesk
IT Helpdesk — No — no helpdesk line on your subscription. You handle day-to-day on covered devices yourself and use tickets or email when you need us.
IT Helpdesk — Yes (Residential) — price $3.50/device/mo on covered home devices (no setup). Ticket access for help on devices in your Ai PC Fix subscription.
IT Helpdesk — Yes (Business) — price $7.50/device/mo on covered business devices (no setup). Same partnership, sized for businesses. Devices must already be in your Ai PC Fix subscription.
Phone calls and ticket time follow the terms in your agreement; unlimited phone support is not part of standard plans. Line items appear on Step 2. Link to this section
More information — Backup options (TMF Backup) & Tates PC Immutable Backup & Disaster Recovery
TMF Backup — workstations — price $6.50/mo per workstation (one-time setup $25.00 charged once per order when any TMF Backup seats are selected). Each workstation seat includes up to 40GB of cloud file-backup storage. Automatic, scheduled backups of the files and folders on every workstation you cover. If a file gets deleted, encrypted by ransomware, or eaten by a hard-drive failure, we restore it.
TMF Backup — servers — price $44.00/mo per server (shares the one-time setup above). Each server seat includes up to 400GB of cloud file-backup storage. Same automatic file backup for your servers, with versioning so we can roll back to yesterday or last week if something gets corrupted. Pick up to as many seats as you have servers.
Tates PC Immutable Backup & Disaster Recovery — desktops — price $25.00/mo per desktop (one-time setup $25.00 per desktop). Each seat includes up to 250GB of immutable cloud image storage (14-day immutable retention in Acronis). Full machine images stay ready for file restore or cloud VM failover.
Tates PC Immutable Backup & Disaster Recovery — servers — price $150.00/mo per server (one-time setup $125.00 per server). Each seat includes up to 2.5TB of immutable cloud image storage (14-day immutable retention in Acronis).
Recovery VM spin-up — when a disaster recovery run launches a cloud VM, pricing is $250.00 one-time startup per VM plus $15.00/hr while that VM stays online. In a disaster recovery scenario, systems are launched as dedicated cloud virtual machines. Each recovery instance includes a one-time startup fee per virtual machine and a usage-based hourly runtime fee for as long as the system remains online. This ensures you only pay for disaster recovery resources when they are actively needed—providing enterprise-grade recovery without the cost of always-on infrastructure. Full Tates PC Immutable Backup & Disaster Recovery details on the backup page.
TMF Backup is for the everyday “I deleted that file” or “ransomware just hit my desktop” — fast, file-level restores. Tates PC Immutable Backup & Disaster Recovery is for whole-system immutable image backup and cloud failover when a machine cannot wait for a rebuild. You can pick either one or stack both. Optional encryption and retention tuning are available on request; accounts with unpaid storage overages may have backups paused per your agreement. Everything itemizes on Step 2. More information — Tates PC Cloud Protect
Tates PC Cloud Protect — price $4.00/user/mo (one-time setup $150.00 for your organization). Backs up your whole Microsoft 365 — Outlook email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams files — into a tamper-proof vault. If someone deletes an inbox or a hacker scrambles your files, we restore from the vault. Priced against your full Microsoft 365 user count below; it's all-or-nothing for the organization. Requires a 1-year commitment; everything itemizes on Step 2. Link to this section
More information — Microsoft 365
Business Basic — price $6.50/user/mo. Email and web essentials — Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and the web versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Great for users who mostly need email and online docs. (1–500 users, not to exceed your total user count.)
Business Standard — price $13.00/user/mo. Everything in Basic plus the installable desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The most popular tier for office workers.
Business Premium — price $23.00/user/mo. Standard plus serious security and centralized device management (Intune) — the right tier if you handle customer data, take payments, or have any compliance worries. Built-in two-factor login, no Entra add-on needed.
Enterprise E3 — price $39.99/user/mo. The Microsoft baseline for larger organizations: full identity, compliance, and security suite plus all the desktop apps.
Enterprise E5 — price $59.99/user/mo. Everything in E3 plus advanced threat protection, Power BI Pro analytics, and built-in audio conferencing.
Enterprise E7 — price $99.99/user/mo. The top-tier Microsoft Enterprise bundle — everything Microsoft offers wrapped under one license.
Microsoft 365 Copilot AI — price $30.99/user/mo per Copilot user. The Microsoft AI assistant that lives inside Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams — drafts emails, summarizes meetings, builds spreadsheets from a prompt, and pulls answers out of your own documents. Requires at least one Standard, Premium, or Enterprise (E3/E5/E7) seat; the Copilot count can't go above your eligible seats.
Entra ID MFA add-on — price $10.99/user/mo for up to the number of Business Basic + Standard seats you choose. Adds extra identity protection and reporting on top of Basic and Standard. Premium and Enterprise users already get this kind of identity control built in.
Microsoft 365 setup (one-time) — price $500.00 for your organization, charged once when any Microsoft line (including Copilot or Entra) is on the order. Covers setup of your Microsoft 365 account, user provisioning, and getting you safely up and running on the platform.
We resell Microsoft 365 directly so it lives on your account with your invoices, your portal, and one phone number to call when something goes sideways. All Microsoft licenses require a 1-year commitment because Microsoft bills us yearly; everything itemizes on Step 2. Link to this section
More information — Network Security Penetration Testing
Network Security Penetration Testing — per device — price $4.00/device/mo, billed yearly (the full annual amount is on your first invoice). Covers every device in your test scope: Desktops, Servers, and Network devices on the main form, plus any Unmanaged devices you add (those count for pen testing only, not as Ai PC Fix monitored seats). Minimum 5 devices in scope to subscribe. The scope locks at this level — you can grow but you can't shrink below what you sign up with.
On-site testing appliance — hardware & setup (one-time) — price $1,000.00 for your organization, charged once on the order summary. Includes the small testing device that lives on your network and runs the tests. If the device ever needs to be replaced (hardware failure, refresh, etc.), replacement hardware is billed to you — it's not part of the recurring yearly fee.
We put a small security-testing device on your network that quietly, continuously tries to break in the way a real attacker would: testing weak passwords, hopping from one machine to another, escalating to admin, and finding misconfigurations. You get a clear, prioritized report of “here's what we got into and here's how to close it” — not just a list of patches to apply. We help you fix the issues, then re-test to prove they're fixed.
This is the kind of testing every major security framework recommends — handy if you're being audited or asked to prove your security actually works:
• NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 — counts as the kind of independent control assessment auditors look for.
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 — proves your protections actually work, not just that they exist.
• CIS Controls v8.1 — directly satisfies Control 18 (penetration testing) and Control 7 (vulnerability management).
• CISA Penetration Testing Guidance — meets the federal government's definition of effective testing.
• MITRE ATT&CK — testing matches the way real attackers operate after they get a foothold.
• ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — gives auditors the technical evidence they ask for under controls A.8.8 and A.5.36.
This isn't a compliance certificate, a policy review, or a human red-team engagement — it's continuous, automated proof that your security actually works. Network Security Penetration Testing requires a 1-year commitment. Link to this section
More information — Ticket boards
First ticket board — included at no extra charge when you use ticketing. One dedicated email address that your customers or staff write to — and the message turns into a ticket your technicians can work.
Additional ticket boards — price $50.00/board/mo per extra board (no setup fee). Each additional board gets its own dedicated email — handy when you want separate inboxes for departments (sales, IT, billing), separate locations, or separate brands.
Tickets route to whichever Technicians you set up under Users → Technician(s) above. Heads up: regular email isn't secure enough for medical records or other sensitive personal information — use the secure messaging links your technician sends for anything like that. Link to this section
More information — Business-grade features (Dashboard & Remote)
Residential-style monitoring — included with your Ai PC Fix subscription at no extra charge. Tune-ups, software updates, and health checks during normal business hours, plus the standard repair scripts that fix common problems automatically before you even notice them.
Business / Enterprise monitoring — included once you flip the Business toggle on the form (priced into the Business subscription rate). Around-the-clock monitoring, broader software-update coverage, and priority automation — the right level if you're regulated or need to be up 24/7. Custom scripts are quoted separately when you need them.
Enterprise Dashboard — included with your Ai PC Fix subscription. Web portal at Ai PC Fix Dashboard where you can see the health, asset list, and live status of every monitored computer in your account.
Remote Access — included when Remote Access is set to Yes. One-click remote control of your covered Windows and Mac devices from the dashboard or the Ai PC Fix icon on the desktop. Two-factor login (text or authenticator app) is required so nobody else can grab the controls.
A few rules: any Technician or Power User account needs Remote Access and the Dashboard turned on, and any account with even one server automatically needs the Dashboard. Backups can offer encrypted restores through the Ai PC Fix interface where licensed. Link to this section
More information — Referral discount code
Setup discount — varies by promotion. Lowers one or more of the one-time setup lines on your order — handy because that's usually the biggest first-month bill.
Recurring discount — varies by promotion. Lowers your monthly or yearly recurring total for as long as the promo runs.
Type your referral code into the box and click Apply & Clear Page before you fill out the rest of the form (the page resets so the discount applies cleanly). Locked discounts show right on the form and carry through to checkout on Step 2. Link to this section
Tates PC — extended helpdesk notes
Included helpdesk minutes (when your plan includes them) expire per your agreement if you don't use them — they don't roll over forever. The fastest way to reach us is by ticket, email, or the Ai PC Fix icon on the desktop; phone calls eat into the same included time. For anything outside your subscription scope, open a ticket or use contact and we will route it. Link to this section
