The FCC has barred Mexico IP Phone (and CEO Hemant Kumar Bharti) from connecting to U.S. networks. The company filed a forged Commission document to gain direct access to U.S. phone numbers and failed to disclose in its Robocall Mitigation Database filing that it was under investigation by a State Attorneys General Task Force for transmitting high-volume illegal/suspicious robocalls. U.S. providers must block all traffic from the company within two days. This brings the total number of providers removed from the RMD since January 2025 to more than 1,400. Enforcement Bureau Chief Hunter Deeley: “Numbering resources are a critical front in the fight against illegal robocalls... Today’s removal effectively cuts off this bad actor from transmitting calls to U.S. consumers.”
