AI Outage: Affected AI and Cloud Services -9AM PT
1. OpenAI (ChatGPT): Experiencing elevated errors and connection interruptions.
2. Anthropic (Claude): Reporting model errors and accessibility issues.
3. Google (Gemini): Facing user-reported service disruptions.
4. SpaceXAI (Grok): Showing widespread outage spikes across the board.
5. Other Tools: Services like Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, and some underlying cloud routing infrastructure are seeing elevated error reports.

Updates:
SpaceXAI has said one of their data centers had an issue and that it serviced several compute partners. -1PM PT
Appears Microsoft Azure related issues persist as Exchange, Teams, and Graph all have persisting outage reports. -4PM PT
Microsoft services stabilized. -6PM PT

Update from the providers themselves: On Thursday morning, September 3, ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok all had concurrent outages lasting a few hours: OpenAI blamed a routing error from about 7:43–8:17 a.m. PT, Anthropic marked a partial Claude outage resolved by 9:16 a.m. PT, and xAI/SpaceX tied Grok’s downtime to a Memphis compute-center outage that cleared by 10:05 a.m. PT. The overlap first looked like a shared third-party failure, but OpenAI and Anthropic did not name an external cause and major cloud/CDN providers reported no incidents that morning.

Special Note: TatesPC Ai did not go down during this incident as it's 100% an in-house and custom hosted solution.
